My First Blog Post!

This blog is dedicated to finding and reporting on the giving of gifts that people really enjoy and remember.  Thinking of what to give someone for a birthday, anniversary, holiday, and other occasions has always been stressful for me. I needed help getting ideas, selecting the right gift, how to package and ship the gift and what kind of card to send. Maybe this is easy for others but not for me. I’ve tried all kinds of online stores and printed catalogs to generate ideas but they have overwhelmed me every time. Why can’t I just find some store that will layout the gifts that people really enjoy and make it easy to order.

After so many years, I have found an online store that actually helps. It is the Thoughtful Presence store at www.ThoughtfulPresence.com. What I like about this store is that you can see all these great gift baskets and gifts all sorted by occasion, by holiday, by recipient, by theme, and then sections for gourmet gifts (for really, really impressing someone) and finally, a section on gifts for corporations and businesses. I can easily go in and select say Christmas gift baskets and find a perfect gift or, when it seems like I haven’t found exactly what I want or think of the one thing that I think should be in the assortment, I can contact them and they will help me customize the set to my liking. This is the easiest gifting I have ever done. Best of all, the customer service over there is actually excellent! In this day and age, that is a characteristic that I can appreciate and that makes this the place to go for me.

So, I decided to write about the gifts and the company with all the time I saved on shopping for gifts. I thank them for that and hope that you agree that this is the absolute best way to shop for gift giving.
